Job summary

Pollock Scotrans Ltd is seeking a Class 1 Driver to operate curtain-sided trailers on a 4 on/4 off rota, with day and night shifts across Lesmahagow. Earn £17.42 per hour with a £2.75 night premium between 21:00 and 04:00. You will deliver palletised goods safely, secure loads, and perform daily vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• UK Class 1 (CE) Licence is required.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Customer service mindset and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good geographical knowledge and motivation to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver with confidence using a curtain-sided trailer to palletised goods.
• Ensure goods are safely strapped and secured during transit.
• Complete daily vehicle checks using the company mobile app and keep vehicles road-ready.
• Maintain clear communication with the transport team to meet customer expectations.
• Participate in regular training to stay up-to-date with industry standards and compliance.
