Qualifications

• Must have a valid UK Class 1 driving licence and CPC.
• 1 year of experience driving Class 1 vehicles is required.

Job description

Driver Hire Winchester is currently recruiting for a experienced Class 1 Driver. you will be responsible for transporting timber products to various locations, ensuring that deliveries are completed efficiently and safely.

About our Class 1 Driving role:

• 6-month contract with an opportunity of a perm role at the end


• Work between Monday to Friday (no weekends)


• Can be working between 1-5 days a week


• Collections and deliveries of Timber


• Driving a Class 1 curtainsider


• Deliveries around the South Coast and Midlands area- goods are forklifted off


• Collecting timber from docks or from timber production warehouses

What we require from you as a Class 1 Driver:

• Full UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence


• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card


• 1 year experience driving Class 1 vehicle is required


• Previous experience in similar role is beneficial


• Strapping experience


• Own transport to commute to and from work is essential


• Great timekeeping and customer service skills
