Job summary

Savanna Staff Solutions are recruiting Class 1 Drivers to support the world’s well-known postal service, driving their Big Red Trucks. Roles across Heathrow, Greenford, Park Royal, Woking, Hounslow and more provide ongoing assignments.

Applicants must be in the UK with the right to work, hold a UK driving licence for 2+ years, possess a valid CPC Digi Card, and be able to pass a driving assessment including a blind reverse. English communication with transport offices is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK driving licence for at least 2 years.
• CPC Digi Card holder.
• Able to pass a driving assessment including blind reverse.
• Good English to communicate with transport offices.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail on cages (York’s) to various mail depots across the UK.
• Possible offloading of cages on loading bays.
• Possible trailer swaps.
• Possible stand-by driver.

Savanna Staff Solutions are proudly supplying Class 1 Drivers in support of the most Well-known Postal service in the world, driving their Big Red Trucks.

We need multiple Class 1 Drivers for different sites Heathrow, Greenford, Park Royal, Woking, Hounslow and more!

Your Daily Class 1 Driver Duties Will Include

• Transport of Mail on Cages (York’s) to various mail depots round the UK
• Possible offloading of yorks on loading bays
• Possible trailer swaps
• Possible stand by driver

Role

To be considered for this Class 1 Driver role, you must be in the UK and have right to live and work in the UK before applying. You must also have the following attributes:

• Current UK/Ireland Driving Licence held for minimum 2 years (Insurance purposes)
• Current CPC card Digi card with the knowledge on manual entry
• Experience on the road and be able to pass a driving assessment with a blind reverse
• Have Good English to communicate to transport offices in English
