Job summary

Major Recruitment are looking for Class 1 drivers (HGV 1) to work for our well established High Street retail client at their Warrington Depot.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay with consistent full-time work, and genuine long-term opportunity. Successful applicants will attend a Driving Assessment, followed by a 2-day paid induction and immediate start.

Qualifications

• Valid CE Licence (HGV Class 1) mandatory.
• DQC Card and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Excellent communication and a clean driving record (≤3 points).

Responsibilities

• Trunking between depots (Warrington to depots).
• Start times typically between 10:00–19:00 with flexibility.
• Roll on/roll off or trunk runs; full-time hours.
• Attend Driving Assessment and two-day paid induction with immediate start.

PM roles available Trunking from Warrington to Elmsall.

The Role:

• Start times between 10:00-19:00 - flexibility required
• Sun-Thurs or Tue-Sat or Wed-Sun
• Trunking from depot to depot

To be considered for this role you must have:

• A valid CE Licence (HGV Class 1)
• DQC Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience
• Excellent communication skills
• No more than 3 points for minor offences (no IN, DD, DR endorsements)
