Job description

DBR Group, acting as an employment business are recruiting Class 1 drivers for our client in Rochdale.

This client uses DBR Group for Ad-hoc work and on-going work.

You must have at least 6 months Class 1 Driving experience for insurance purposes.

The Job

Working for a well-recognised and award-winning company, you will be working on a variety of different contracts, delivering via curtain side vehicle, generally doing curbside drops.

You must be able to pull back the curtains on the trailer, reverse competently onto loading bays where required and communicate well with the office during your working day.

Start times are usually 7am.

Some shifts will include a Night out, due to distance. But not often.

You are paid a minimum 8 hours per shift.

The work is based on a Monday to Friday working week.

Drivers that we deem suitable for this client will be introduced to them, and depending on how you do, will depend on how much work you get from them.

Permanent employment is a possibility for the right driver.

The Pay (PAYE)

Hourly Rate: £15.00 per hour

Overtime: £22.50 per hour

Night Out Payment: £25.00 per night as a paid expense.

Key Skills Required

Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence Entitlement.

In Date CPC Card and Tacho Card.

Physically fit and able to carry out the role.

Excellent Geographical knowledge.

Excellent Communication skills.

Excellent Customer service skills.

A sound understanding of the WTD and Drivers hours rules.
