Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking Class 1 Drivers in Rochdale to work with our client, one of the UK's leading supermarket chains.

The role is based in Rochdale but is suitable for candidates from Heywood, Middleton, Oldham, Stockport, Bolton, and surrounding areas.

Working Hours:

Full-time hours with AM and PM shift starts, currently working either Friday to Monday or Wednesday to Sunday. The role may require a driving assessment prior to shift allocation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Trunking
• Supermarket store deliveries, including cages and tall lift work
• Handling frozen and ambient goods
• Performing industry-standard vehicle checks

About You:

• You must hold a valid Class 1 Driving Licence and have at least 6 months of commercial driving experience.
• Must possess a UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
• Up to 6 points accepted on your licence; endorsements like DD, TT, DR, CD, IN are not accepted.
• Suitable candidates will have experience in roles such as Class 1 Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver, Truck Driver, HGV Driver, Delivery Driver, etc.
• You should be a UK resident and able to travel to and from the site for shifts. We do not assist with visa applications or relocation.
