Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for glass work in Pontefract. You must hold a Class 1 licence, DCPC and Digi-tacho, with at least 12 months of commercial driving experience. Roles involve general haulage with some handballing, long-distance runs, and palletised loads.

Shifts are rotating (4 on 4 off) with minimum 12-hour shifts. PAYE drivers welcome, with a competitive hourly rate and regular weekly pay.

Qualifications

Class 1 driving licence required.
Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience.
UK DCPC card and Digi-tacho card required.

Responsibilities

A high level of responsibility is granted with this role, so common sense is essential due to the nature of the work.

About You

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving.You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
