A logistics company in Peterborough is seeking Class 1 drivers for flexible ongoing work during the peak period. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of driving experience, a valid digi card history, and be available for both day and night shifts. Pay rates range from £19.98 to £22.89 per hour, increasing during peak times from October to January.

Overview

Driver Support Services has the opportunity of Class 1 work with our client in Peterborough for their peak period, who is a major parcel delivery network.

The work is Temp on-going.

Employment Details

Must be fully flexible as shifts are days and nights, weekday and weekend trunking work with cages. Flexibility will be required for shifts, as the more flexible you are with start times and days available to work the more shifts will be available for you.

Experience & Compliance

Minimum 2 years experience in Class 1, need recent digi card history

Infringements will be checked before assessment more than 10 overall in 12 months, or more than 3 for rest or drivers hours you will not be able to assess.

No more than 3 points for Speeding convictions only

An assessment will be arranged and a DBS check is needed which will be arranged for you.

Platform & Work Details

Your shifts will be sent on an online platform called joined up.

The work is trunking depot to depot with cages, cages will need to be unloaded (loaded on occasion)

Pay & Peak Period

Class 1 days 19.98ph - 21.52ph depending on start and finish times. nights 22.89ph

Rates will increase for Peak period 27th October till 11th January
