Job summary

CTRG Limited is recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) for Tesco Peterborough, PE1 4YT. You must hold a valid LGV C+E, HGV 1, Class 1 UK licence with no more than 6 points, a UK digital tachograph card and a full DQC (CPC).

Assessments are held weekly with immediate starts. There are various shifts, flexible pay with Stream, mapped routes from the Peterborough depot, holiday pay and PAYE employment rights. You will liaise with colleagues and customers to ensure on‑time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid UK LGV C+E/HGV 1 licence with no more than 6 points.
• UK digital tachograph card and CPC (DQC) required.
• DVLA licence check code required.
• Minimum 6 months UK class 1 experience preferred; newly qualified drivers considered.
• Assessments held weekly with immediate starts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries reach Tesco Peterborough stores on time.
• Adhere to all training, processes and working time directives.
• Liaise with colleagues and potentially customers.
• Accurate time keeping and route compliance.
• Work across various shift patterns.

HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) – Client is Tesco Peterborough, PE1 4YT

You must hold a valid LGV C+E, HGV 1, Class 1 UK licence with no more than 6 points (due to insurance policy), a UK digital tachograph card & a full DQC (CPC card). You will also need to provide a DVLA licence check code to proceed to assessment interview. A minimum of 6 months UK class 1 experience is preferred. We will be able to accept newly qualified drivers.

Assessments are held weekly with immediate starts!
