Class 1 Driver

Location: Ferrybridge, WF11 8UL

Shift times: Monday - Friday, earliest 06:45am start, finish by 4:00pm. Nice set hours with guaranteed minimum pay for 45 hours per week over 5 days.

Contract: Temp to Perm or possible straight perm

Pay Rate: £15.29 per hour (plus overtime when available) after 45 hours

We are recruiting LGV CE Curtainsiders Drivers in Ferrybridge for one of the world's leading transportation clients. You will work Monday to Friday, averaging 40-45 hours weekly. Typical daily duties include:

1. Ensuring goods are correctly strapped before journeys; loading is done by warehouse staff.
2. Delivering insulation products across the UK with 1-3 drops daily.
3. Getting offloaded by customers and ensuring loads are secure and paperwork signed at each location.
4. Driving HGV Class 1 Vehicles professionally and operating to FORS Gold safety standards.
5. Having your own unit daily.

Requirements to succeed:

• Valid LGV C+E Licence
• Minimum 12 months experience
• Safety boots, Hi Viz, and safety glasses PPE
• Customer-facing professional attitude
• Up-to-date CPC and DIGI card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No DD, DR, or IN endorsements
