Job Description

Stobart is currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our growing team in Bridgewater.

The role is based at a Morrisons site in Bridgewater (TA6 4FG) and involves store deliveries, RDCs, warehouses, trunking, general haulage, manual handling, drop and swaps, and supporting the wider Stobart and Culina network when required.

Shifts

• Friday-Monday 13:30 start
• Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday - 14:00 start
• Thursday-Monday 16:00 start
• Friday-Monday 18:00 start
• Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Monday - 18:00 start

Pay Rates

• Monday-Friday Days - £14.50/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment)
• Monday-Friday Nights - £15.90/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment)
• Saturday and Sunday Days - £18.00/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment)
• Saturday and Sunday Nights - £18.50/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment)
• Bank Holidays - £18.81/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment)

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of HGV Class 1 experience
• Valid C+E Licence, DCPC, and Tacho Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence with no DD/DR code convictions
• Understanding and ability to comply with driver’s hours and WTD legislation
• Ability to carry out vehicle checks and report defects correctly
• Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements
