Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking an experienced Class 1 (Night) Driver to join its Knottingley team on a full-time, permanent basis. Duties include transporting goods safely, conducting vehicle inspections, and adhering to transport legislation. Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport goods between TJX sites, involving collections from vendors.
• Adhere to all relevant legislation and company policies pertaining to driving, safety, and vehicle operation.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness.
• Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding any delays, issues, or changes during journeys.
• Perform any other duties related to the role as required.

Here at GXOKnottingley we're looking for Class 1 (Night) Driversto join our team. You’ll be working on afull-time, permanentbasis, 48 hours per week, Tuesday – Saturday or Sunday – Thursday, with a start time of 16:00 or 17:00.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full EU driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
