A transportation and logistics company is hiring a full-time Class 1 Driver in Bury St Edmunds. You will handle multidrop deliveries across East Anglia and must hold an HGV1 license. Class 1 Multidrop Driver Days
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Shift times: 7am starts, 10-12 hour days, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: £15.91 per hour (7 hour guarantee in place)

We're looking for full-time, Class 1 Days Drivers to join us at our site in Bury St Edmunds. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

What you'll do on a typical day:

Multidrop deliveries between customer sites
On average 12-14 drops across East Anglia - drops will be all similar postcode areas.
Typically, 1 trailer swap and collection to carry out.
Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
In the absence of a customer forklift driver, you will need to use pallet truck to unload pallets off trailer.
Using a handheld scanner and completing relevant paperwork.
Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.What you need to succeed with our client

Multidrop delivery experience.
ADR licence is preferred by not essential.
