Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license with digi and CPC card.
• No more than 6 points on license.
• Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery roles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and basic maintenance skills.
• Familiarity with route driving and logistics management.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently or in a team.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced class 1 drivers to join our team working around Immingham. We have day/nights and tramping opportunities available

Duties

• Operate containers, curtains, fridges
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while considering traffic patterns and road conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while driving in various conditions.
• Assist in the training of new drivers as needed.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license plus digi and cpc card
• no more than 6 points on license
• ideally knowledge of the port
• Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery driver roles;
• Strong mechanical knowledge of commercial vehicles and basic maintenance skills.
• Experience operating heavy equipment or vehicles.
• Familiarity with route driving and logistics management.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
