Job Description

Eddie Stobart is currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team in Goole.

The role is based at a Tesco site in Goole and involves stores, RDCs, warehouse deliveries, and general haulage work. You will be using a variety of Tesco and ESL kit. This role may involve manual handling, drop and swaps, and general trunking.

Shifts:

1. Sunday-Thursday Nights - 15:00-23:00 start times.
2. Tuesday-Saturday Nights - 15:00-23:00 start times.
3. Monday-Friday Nights - 15:00-23:00 start times.
4. Monday-Friday Days - £14.50 per hour (including meal allowance and tier payments).
5. Monday-Friday Night Shift - £15.80 per hour (including meal allowance and tier payments).
6. Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £17.50 per hour (including meal allowance and tier payments).
7. Saturday and Sunday Night Shift - £18.00 per hour (including meal allowance and tier payments).
8. Bank Holidays - £18.31 per hour (including meal allowance and tier payments).

Qualifications

• You should hold a valid C+E Licence, CPC, and Tacho Card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence with no DD/DR code convictions.
• Understand and able to comply with driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and report defects correctly.
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
