Qualifications

  • Less than six points on your licence, no serious endorsements.
  • Must pass an on-site assessment prior to assignment.

Location: Snetterton

Shift times: Monday - Friday day shifts (start times vary depending on preference).

Pay: £14.00 Standard / £18.00 Overtime.

Length of assignment: Ongoing (potential temp to perm)

Manpower is currently recruiting for Class 1 HGV drivers to work on behalf of one of our national food and drinks logistics distribution clients.

What You'll Do On a Typical Day

  • Carry out a maximum of two deliveries per day to the customer delivery points, following all relevant store and non-store delivery procedures as per company and customer policies
  • Maintain the highest levels of hygiene and housekeeping standards within the depot, vehicle, and trailer assigned for daily duties
  • Regularly inspect the vehicle for defects and wear and tear, and report any issues promptly to ensure timely and effective maintenance
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork within the given timeframe, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.

What You Need To Succeed With Our Client

  • A full UK driving licence with C+E category - must have 2 year's experience
  • Less than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
  • An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative
  • Must be able to pass an on-site assessment prior to assignment commencement
