Job description

We are currently recruiting for 5 HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing ad-hoc cover, working days, afternoons, and nights in Droitwich. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to NDCs and RDCs, trunking work, and shop deliveries. The role involves cage deliveries of milk, and at some locations, you are required to use a tail-lift to push and pull products being delivered.

It is an immediate start for the successful candidate and ongoing work.

Shifts available:

1. 5 shifts over 7, weekend shifts preferred.

Start times: from 15:00 - 01:00

Salary:

1. Monday - Friday. Days - £14.00
2. Monday - Friday. Nights - £16.00
3. Monday to Friday - overtime after 47.5 hours. Days - £15.75
4. Monday to Friday - overtime after 47.5 hours. Nights - £18.00
5. Saturday Day - £15.75
6. Saturday Night - £18.00
7. Sunday - BH Day - £21.00
8. Sunday - BH Night - £24.00

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

Day to day duties will include the following:

1. Driving within the WTD and EU regulations and rules.
2. Prepping vehicles for delivery.
3. Completing vehicle checks.
4. Refuelling vehicles.
5. Multi-drop deliveries.
6. The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

As a person, you will need the following qualities and experience:

1. Excellent communication skills.
2. UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
3. Digi & CPC Card.
4. No more than 6 points for minor offences.
