Job summary

GXO Crewe (CW2 5UB) is recruiting Class 1 drivers to support our TJX operations. This 24/7 site offers trunking, store deliveries and collections from third-party vendors, with a full-time, permanent contract and 48 hours per week on 9.6-hour shifts. Start times are between 14:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday.

You will transport goods between TJX sites, handle collections, and use handheld scanners, following planned routes to reduce bridge strikes and stay compliant with driving laws and policies.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence with category C/C+E entitlement.
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with conviction in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transporting goods between TJX sites.
• Completing collections from third-party locations.
• Using hand-held scanners to complete tasks.
• Following planned routes to support reducing bridge strikes.
• Ensuring compliance with driving legislation and company policies.
• Carrying out pre- and post-vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.

Are you a Class 1 Driver looking for a new challenge?

AtGXO Crewe (CW2 5UB), we’re expanding our team and recruiting Class 1 drivers to support our TJX operations. Our 24/7 Crewe site supports three TJX operations, meaning your work will be varied and engaging. Duties will include trunking, store deliveries and collections from third-party vendors

You will be employed on a full-time, permanent contract, working 48 hours per week on 9.6-hour shifts following a Monday to Friday rota with a start timesbetween 14:00 - 17:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Maintaining stock and seal integrity at all times
• Carrying out thorough pre- and post-vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness
• Undertaking any other duties reasonably required as part of the role

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category C/C+E entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
• Buddy shifts provided during initial training
• Support from a dedicated compliance team to help you succeed day to day
