Job summary

People Solutions Group is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join a well-established client in Coventry. • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure cargo is loaded and secured properly.

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Coventry, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Rates of Pay:

• Monday to Friday £17.50ph

Day to Day Duties:

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not limited to:

• Class 1 Trunking & Trailer Swaps between Depots.
• Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
• Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving CE vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial

Training:

• Driver's Assessment prior to starting
• Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
