Job summary

StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers for curtain-side trunking and multi-drop work based in Coventry. We're looking for professional and motivated drivers for both AM and PM shifts, with immediate starts available.

This is a well-organised operation offering consistent weekly bookings, paid breaks, and opportunities for block bookings and full-time positions. Shifts are typically 10–12 hours, with 8 hours guaranteed pay and paid breaks.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (CE) UK licence held for at least 2 years.
• Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR, DD or TT convictions).
• Physically fit and well-presented.

Responsibilities

• Complete curtain-side deliveries and trunking work with typically 1–3 drops per shift.
• Unload using forklift and ensure safe handling of goods.
• Work in shifts of 10–12 hours with paid breaks and 8 hours guaranteed pay.

£20.00ph - £37.00ph | Weekly Pay | Block Bookings

StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing curtain-side trunking and multi-drop work based in Coventry. We're looking for professional and motivated drivers for both AM and PM shifts, with immediate starts available. This is a well-organised operation offering consistent weekly bookings, paid breaks, and opportunities for block bookings and full-time positions.

Pay Rates (PAYE)

• Monday-Friday PM: £19.05ph plus holiday pay
• Monday - Friday AM: £17.86 plus holiday pay
• Overtime (after 9 hours) PM: £23.22ph

6th shift weekend work is paid at double time!

What the role involves

You'll be completing curtain-side deliveries and trunking work, typically 1-3 drops per shift, with forklift-assisted unloading. Shifts are typically 10-12 hours, with 8 hours guaranteed pay, including paid breaks.

Working pattern & induction

You'll be working Monday to Friday with additional weekend work available. A paid 2-day assessment and induction is required before starting, followed by ongoing block booking opportunities and potential full-time positions.

Start time AM - 00:00 - 04:00 AM

Start time PM - 18:00 - 22:00 PM

Our ideal candidate
