Job summary

Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited are seeking experienced Class 1 drivers for shifts in Coleshill, Birmingham. Location: Coleshill, Birmingham. Monday-Friday 04:00-07:00 starts with 3–8 pallet drops daily, using a PDA for deliveries.

You must hold a UK Class 1 licence with at least 1 year of experience, CPC and Digi Card, and have no more than 6 points on your licence. National and local deliveries are expected; Handball may be required and driving to tight schedules with safety in mind is

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 licence with 1 year of Class 1 experience
• In date CPC and Digi card
• No more than 6 points on licence; only speeding offences allowed
• Good geographical knowledge and ability to meet tight schedules

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 vehicle for national and local pallet deliveries
• Adhere to safety standards and driving schedules
• Operate PDA device for deliveries and proofs of delivery
• Occasionally assist with handball as required

Job description

Gi Group are looking for experienced class 1 drivers for our well- known client in Coleshill, Birmingham.

Location: Coleshill, Birmingham

Class 1 pay rate

• Days - £17.65 per hour including advanced holiday pay (PAYE only no umbrellas)

Class 1 shifts

• Monday - Friday
• 04:00-07:00 starts
• 3 - 8 drops per day of pallets.
• Use of PDA Machine is required.
• Handball maybe required from time to time.
• National & Local deliveries are expected.

Class 1 Driver requirements and skills:

• In date, UK, class 1 licence with 1 year's class 1 experience
• In date CPC and digi card
• No more than 6 points on licence, speeding offences only no other endorsements/convictions can be accepted
• Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, Upbeat, self-motivated and resilient - are welcomed in this role.
• Able to work on tight schedule whilst maintaining high safety standards throughout.
• You must have good geographical knowledge
