Eddie Stobart is currently seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their expanding team in Carlisle. The role involves completing deliveries and collections for customers, with potential manual handling, drop and swaps, and trunking tasks.

Shifts Available:

• Friday-Monday 04:00am-07:00am or 16:00pm-19:00pm start windows
• Friday - Tuesday 16:00pm-19:00pm start window
• Monday-Friday 16:00pm-19:00pm start window
• Thursday-Monday 16:00pm-19:00pm start window

Salary:

£38,144 - £43,440 per annum, depending on shift pattern and times.

Work Rates:

General work:

• Monday-Friday Days - £13.50/hr (including Meal allowance and Tier Payments)
• Monday-Friday Nights - £14.90/hr (including Meal allowance and Tier Payments)
• Weekend Days - £17.00/hr (including Meal allowance and Tier Payments)
• Weekend Nights - £17.50/hr (including Meal allowance and Tier Payments)
• Bank Holidays - £17.81/hr (including Meal allowance and Tier Payments)

Tramping rates:

• Monday-Friday Days - £14.50/hr (including Meal allowance and Tier Payments)
• Monday-Friday Nights - £15.90/hr (including Meal allowance and Tier Payments)
• Weekend Days & Nights - £18.00/hr (including Meal allowance and Tier Payments)
• Weekend Nights - £18.50/hr (including Meal allowance and Tier Payments)
• Bank Holidays - £18.81/hr (including Meal allowance and Tier Payments)
• Night out allowance where applicable - £25.00

Qualifications:

• Valid C+E Licence and minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 experience
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions
• Current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
• Knowledge of Driver’s hours and WTD legislation
• Ability to perform vehicle checks and report defects
• Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements
• Excellent communication skills
