Job Description

The role is based at the Rugby Truck Stop on Watling Street and involves delivering and collecting to RDCs for non-refrigerated baked goods, along with general haulage for customers such as Cemex, CGE, and Britvic. This role may include manual handling, drop and swaps, and general trunking.

Shifts: Days and Nights available:

Various shifts are available, including but not limited to:

• Monday-Friday Days
• Friday-Tuesday Days and Nights
• Sunday-Thursday Days and Nights
• Thursday-Monday Days
• Tuesday-Saturday Days
• Wednesday-Sunday Days and Nights

Other shift patterns can be considered. Please advise your availability.

• Mon-Fri Days - £15.00/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment)
• Mon-Fri Night Shift - £16.30/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment)
• Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £18.00/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment)
• Saturday and Sunday Night Shift - £18.50/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment)
• Bank Holidays - £18.81/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment)

Qualifications

• At least 6 months Class 1 experience required
• Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card
• No more than 6 points on your Licence, with no DD/DR Code convictions
• Understanding of and ability to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation
• Ability to carry out vehicle safety checks and report defects correctly
• Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements
