Job summary

HireGiant is seeking experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established logistics client based in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, professional drivers to secure ongoing work with one of the UK's most respected distribution companies.

You will perform trailer drops and swaps, maintain accurate paperwork and PODs, and conduct daily vehicle checks. Start times between 18:00 and 21:00, shift length 10–14 hours, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) Licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Fridge trailer experience – essential 2 years, and no more than 6 points on licence.

Responsibilities

• Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Ensuring loads are transported safely and efficiently

Hours & Pay:

Start times: Between 18:00pm and 21:00pm

Shift length: 10–14 hours (Monday to Friday)

Pay rate: £20.00 - £21.00 per hour (PAYE)

Weekly pay, every Friday

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Fridge trailer experience – essential 2 years , and no more than 6 points on licence (no DR, DD, or IN)
• Safety boots and high-vis required
