The Best Connection in Biggleswade is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join a growing operation. You will complete scheduled deliveries and collections, representing both the client and customers with safety and professionalism.

Shifts start at 17:00, Monday to Friday, with overtime and training provided. A path to permanent placement exists for the right candidate and a supportive team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Full uk Class 1 (C+E) licence required
• No more than 6 points on licence
• No previous disqualifications (DD, TT, DR, CD, IN)
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and WTD regulations

Job description

The Best Connection is currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers on behalf of a well-established client based in Biggleswade. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing operation, with the possibility of securing a permanent position for the right candidate.

Role Overview:

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing scheduled deliveries and collections efficiently and professionally. You will represent both our client and their customers, ensuring all goods are transported safely and delivered on time.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, starting at 17:00

Class 1 driver - Pay & Benefits:

• Basic pay: £19.00 per hour - Monday to Friday
• £20.00 per hour for any hours worked on a Saturday
• £21.00 per hour for any hours worked on a Sunday
• Weekly pay with online payslips available up to 48 hours before payday
• 28 days' holiday (pro-rata)

• Temporary to permanent opportunity following a successful trial period
