Job summary

Manpower UK requires a Class 1 Driver to operate from its Worksop depot on a temporary contract. Shifts Monday to Friday, start between 01:00 and 02:00, delivering to distribution centres including B&Q and Screwfix. Pay rate £15.84–£17.12 per hour.

Daily vehicle inspections, load security and trailer swaps are part of the role. Key responsibilities include up to three runs per shift and returning to the depot for reloading.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Must have a valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience reversing onto loading bays is desirable.
• Good understanding of load security and vehicle safety checks.
• Safety boots and hi‑vis vest required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle and load checks, ensuring loads are secure and correctly strapped before departure.
• Deliver to distribution centres, including Bandamp;Q and Screwfix.
• Reverse safely onto loading bays, where warehouse staff will unload the trailer.
• Return to the depot with an empty trailer, reloading or completing a trailer swap.
• Complete up to 3 runs per shift.
• Follow all road transport and health and safety regulations.
