Job Opportunity: Class 1 Drivers

Newstaff Employment is currently recruiting Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Bedford.

Benefits include:

1. Paid assessments are now available.
2. Immediate starts, daily shifts, and guaranteed shifts.
3. Ongoing work available all year round.

Requirements

• Availability between 01:00 – 04:00 and 16:00 – 23:00.
• Flexibility to drive all types of vehicles (Truck, Rigid, or Urban Trailers).
• No more than 6 points on your license.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an HGV 1 Driver.
• Proficiency in English language and communication skills.
• Valid UK Driving License, UK DIGI card, and UK CPC card.

Job Role

• Average 12-hour shifts.
• Daily bookings.
• Unload cages/pallets.

Pay Rates

Overtime paid after 45 hours at £26.39 per hour.

Note: After 12 weeks, a 45-minute break will be paid.

Additional Information

Employment is subject to successful completion of a driver assessment and induction.
