Job summary

Burns Express Freight Limited is seeking experienced Class 1 Multi-Drop Drivers to join our team in Hillington, UK. As a Day Shift Driver, you'll deliver palletised freight across the Central Belt, ensuring safety and efficiency while representing our company professionally.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence and have at least 2 years of relevant multi-drop driving experience, along with excellent communication skills. We offer a competitive hourly rate and full-time permanent employment with ongoing training opportunities.

• No more than 6 penalty points and no DR or DD offences.
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant multi-drop experience required.

Burns Express is a long-established logistics provider with a modern fleet and a strong reputation across the UK & Europe. We are now seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) Multi-Drop Drivers to join our team in Hillington.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Class 1 Day Shift Driver, you’ll be responsible for delivering palletised freight across the Central Belt safely and efficiently, always representing Burns Express with professionalism. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering palletised freight throughout the Central Belt
• Conducting daily walk‑around vehicle checks and reporting defects via our app
• Completing required paperwork accurately and returning it to the office
• Following all company safety procedures and road regulations
• Using the company PDA for job tasks and updates

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR or DD offences)
• Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant multi‑drop experience
• Excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude
• Previous multi‑drop logistics experience (preferred but not essential)
