Job summary
Pollock Scotrans Ltd is seeking a Class 1 Day Driver to join our Scotland-based transport team at Eurocentral. You will handle local palletised deliveries and trunking, ensuring on-time, accurate loading and secure transportation.
You will perform daily vehicle safety checks, stay in touch with the transport team, and participate in regular training to maintain high industry standards. UK Class 1 CE licence required, and DCPC/Digital Tachograph cards must be current.
Qualifications
- UK Class 1 CE Licence required.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Customer service focus and ability to meet deadlines.
- Confident, polite team player with good route knowledge.
- Physical fitness and self-motivation for field work.
Responsibilities
- Operate curtain sider trailer for local pallet deliveries and trunking.
- Load and secure goods using straps and nets to prevent movement.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks using company phone.
- Communicate with transport team to update progress and meet customer expectations.
- Attend regular training to stay compliant with industry standards.
