Job summary

Staffline is hiring HGV Class 1 Day Drivers for ongoing roles at the Castle Donington depot in partnership with DHL. Whether you are an experienced driver or newly licensed, this position offers regular work, competitive PAYE rates, and potential permanent placement.

The role mainly involves trunking and store deliveries, with a consistent schedule across Fri–Mon shifts. Depot operates year-round with sustained hours, paid breaks, and weekly pay.

• Digi card and DQC are required.
• No IN, DD or DR endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Trunking between RDCs.
• Store deliveries to DHL's bespoke store network.
• Work is predominantly trunking with straightforward, hassle-free tasks.
• Carry out duties in a long-term, ongoing cycle with regular shifts.

Staffline is working in cooperation with DHL and is recruiting HGV Class 1 Day Drivers for ongoing opportunities based at their Castle Donington depot.

Shift Pattern

Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday

Pay Rates (PAYE)

Days: £19.51 per hour

Overtime: £29.26 per hour

Saturday: £22.75 per hour

Sunday: £23.84 per hour

Bank Holidays: £49.51 per hour

45-minute break paid

Your Time at Work

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be carrying out a mix of:

• Trunking work between RDCs
• Retail store deliveries to DHL's bespoke store network

The role is predominantly trunking, making it ideal for drivers looking for straightforward, hassle-free work.

This depot operates all year round, providing long-term, ongoing work with consistent start times and shift patterns. In return for your commitment, you'll benefit from reliable hours, excellent rates of pay, and the opportunity to secure a permanent role.

Our Perfect Worker
