Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Class 1 (Cat C+E) tramping driver for an immediate start to work with one of our prestigious clients in the Arundel area. This an ongoing permanent role on a rotating shift of Monday – Friday and Monday – Saturday. This will include an overnight allowance of £25 per day.

• Approximate earnings £36,400-52,000 per annum
• Bonus rates offered for overtime or weekend shifts
• Weekly pay

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles for the delivery of goods across the UK
• Complete long-haul deliveries, requiring nights out
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
• Assist with loading and unloading as required
• Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers
• Reliability and strong work ethic
• Good spoken and written English
• Own vehicle to get to shifts
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles
• HGV satnav

Required:

• Possession of a valid Full UK License
• Hold Class 1 (Cat C+E) entitlement for at least 12 months.
• Proof of Right to work in the UK (birth certificate or Passport)
• No DR10 endorsements on driving record
• Ability to work nights away from home comfortably
