C+E Drivers (HGV Class 1)

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Salary: £38,798.81

Shift patterns available: Monday to Friday, starting from 5am, 48-hour working week (no weekends or bank holidays)

Location: Lutterworth

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers to play a vital role in our distribution service.

What does the role entail?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Collect the trailer from the Rugby site
• Potentially take loads from Daventry, Coventry, or Barton, and return the trailer to the site
• Make up to 4 drops a day, including a return load, at different customer locations
• Handle tipping and rolling off up to 900 tyres (a person will collect them at the other end)
• Drive safely and efficiently, complying with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Adhere to health and safety standards, The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations

What do we need from you?

• A valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card
• Desirable: 2 years of LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) driving experience
• Reside locally to Lutterworth, if possible
