Job summary

Manpower Driving & Logistics is recruiting for a Class 1 ADR Driver at Stoney Stanton. You will operate night shifts earning £18.27 per hour with overtime and weekend rates, plus a night bonus and performance bonus. This is a long-term assignment with ongoing support from a dedicated Manpower consultant.

The role involves trunking deliveries, refuelling at refinery sites, and safe handling of hazardous goods with a strong focus on customer service and road safety.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Current ADR Class 2 in Tanks qualification.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 2 years' HGV driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DD or DR convictions.

£18.27 per hour | £27.41 per hour Overtime & Weekends | Immediate Start
Night Bonus - £20 per shift
Performance Bonus of up to £1000 every 6 months

Manpower Driving & Logistics are recruiting on behalf of a leading national client for experienced Class 1 ADR Drivers based at Stoney Stanton.

The Role

As a Class 1 ADR Driver, you'll be responsible for:

• Depot-to-depot trunking deliveries
• Refuelling at refinery sites
• Safe and compliant transportation of hazardous goods
• Maintaining high standards of customer service and road safety

Start times:

Between 4:00pm and 8:00pm

Available Shift Patterns

• Monday - Friday
• Monday - Thursday (with option to add overtime shifts)
• 4 on 3 off nights (Thursday - Sunday)

Pay & Benefits

• £18.27 per hour
• £27.41 per hour after 42.5 hours per week and for all weekend shifts
• PAYE employment
• 28 days paid holiday per year
• Dedicated Manpower consultant providing ongoing support
• Long-term assignment with a nationally recognised employer

What We're Looking For

To be considered, you must have:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Current ADR Class 2 in Tanks qualification
• Valid Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 2 years' HGV driving experience

• No DD or DR convictions

Previous trunking or fuel delivery experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

This role is expected to run until approximately April 2027 (weather dependant), after which requirements will be reviewed.
