Job summary

Based in Hinckley, this temporary role for a Class 1 ADR Tanker Driver (C+E) - Days - Stoney Sta involves depot-to-depot trunking and refinery refuelling.

The position requires a current ADR licence and safe handling of hazardous materials, with 4-on-2-off shifts and starts between 4:00am and 6:00am.

Pay is £18.27 per hour, rising to £27.41 for overtime and weekend shifts, plus a bonus of up to £1000 every six months; 28 days paid holiday and ongoing support from a Manpower UK consultant.

Qualifications

• Current Class 1 (C+E) licence is required.
• ADR Class 2 in Tanks qualification is required.
• Valid Driver CPC and Tachograph card.
• Minimum 2 years HGV driving experience recommended.
• No DD or DR convictions; up to 6 penalty points allowed.

Responsibilities

• Depot-to-depot trunking deliveries.
• Refuelling at refinery sites.
• Safe and compliant transportation of hazardous goods.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and road safety.

Job description

Based in Hinckley, this temporary role for a Class 1 ADR Tanker Driver (C+E) - Days - Stoney Sta involves depot-to-depot trunking and refinery refuelling. The position requires a current ADR licence and safe handling of hazardous materials. Working a 4-on-2-off pattern with starts between 4:00am and 6:00am, you will earn £18.27 per hour, rising to £27.41 for overtime and weekends. A performance bonus of up to £1000 is available every six months. Manpower UK seeks a professional committed to road safety and customer service. Immediate starts are offered for this ongoing day work, which provides excellent hourly rates.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Current ADR Class 2 in Tanks qualification
• Valid Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 2 years'' HGV driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DD or DR convictions
• Previous trunking or fuel delivery experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

This role is expected to run until approximately April 2027 (weather dependant), after which requirements will be reviewed.
