Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking an experienced Class 1 ADR Driver for our Manchester Fuel Terminal delivery operations. You will handle loading, unloading and deliveries with a focus on safety, compliance and customer service, working a flexible 4-out-of-7 pattern and 48 hours per week.

The role requires a valid LGV Licence (C+E) and ADR Class 3 in road tankers, PDP & DCPD, plus at least two years in the UK downstream oil sector. Excellent communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV Licence (C+E) and ADR Class 3 in road tankers (UK).
• PDP & DCPD certificates.
• At least 2 years’ experience in the UK downstream oil industry.
• Hands-on forecourt and bulk deliveries experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out loading, unloading and deliveries without supervision in compliance with ACOP/UKPIA and local procedures.
• Ensure care, security and safe handling of vehicle, equipment and fuel load; acknowledge recording devices where fitted.
• Work shifts as required; perform unassisted deliveries and follow company policies and training.
