Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking qualified Class 1 (C+E) ADR tanker drivers for day or night shifts in Port Clarence, Stockton. Role involves trunking work depot-to-depot and loading at refineries, with on-site parking and full training provided.

Pay starts at £18.84 per hour with guaranteed 42.5 hours weekly; overtime £28.26 per hour after 42.5 hours plus £20 night shift allowance. DBS check required and 6 points max on licence.

Qualifications

• ADR - class 2 in tanks.
• Valid C+E driving licence with 2 years truck / HGV experience.
• Digi Card and DCPC card.
• DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Drive tanker C+E vehicles on trunking depot-to-depot routes.
• Adhere to ADR Tanker safety regulations and company policies.
• Complete required logs, tachographs and pre/post-trip checks.

Job description

Manpower have an existing vacancy for multiple C+E (Class 1) ADR Drivers to work Days or Nights for one of our national clients in Port Clarence, Stockton. The role is Trunking work depot to depot and loading out of the local refineries.

All tanker work

Pay

£18.84 per hour - Guaranteed 42.5 hours per week
£28.26 per hour after 42.5 hours per week and time and a half at weekends.
Plus £20 Per night shift allowance
Rates are PAYE including 28 days holiday per year.

Shifts

4 on 2 off shift pattern, starting either 04:00 or 16:00

Details

The role is due to start in October and will run until the end of March 2027 when it will be reviewed, potentially going through until May.

Additional Details

For insurance purposes you should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
