Job description

Our team in Perth currently has an opening for a HGV 2 ADR Driver.

Brenntag UK & Ireland (part of the global Brenntag Group) is the market leader in specialty, bulk and packaged chemical distribution. In the UK, we employ circa 1,000 people from 21 strategic sites, three sea-fed facilities and we regularly invest in our dedicated fleet of over 120 vehicles. We serve over 20,000 customer accounts nationwide.

We are recruiting drivers to be based out of our Perth depot where you’ll be responsible for the safe loading and delivery of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. You’ll be working to planned schedules and agreed policies/operational procedures.

As a Class 2 ADR driver, it will be your responsibility to:

• Contribute to the safe operational efficiency and effectiveness of the depots on time and full targets.
• Loading and unloading of chemicals.
• Delivering chemicals to customers.
• Safe handling and delivery of chemicals to customers, fully adhering to operational procedures.
• Check that the fully loaded vehicle matches the customer order.
• Carry out any reasonable task related to the post.
