Job summary

Driver Hire Plymouth & Cornwall is currently looking to hire experienced HGV class 1 drivers with ADR (tanks) licences to work for a client in Ivybridge. This is a full-time role with shifts starting around 4am, delivering commercial gas cylinders.

Pay is £40,375 per annum. Training and PPE provided; PAYE payroll. Previous HGV driving experience is beneficial and ADR tanks ticket is required.

Qualifications

• Full Category C+E (Class 1) licence with in-date CPC and Digi, and ADR cards.
• ADR (tanks) ticket required.
• Previous HGV driving experience would be highly beneficial.

Position: Tanker HGV1 (cylinders)

Location: Ivybridge

We here at Driver Hire are currently looking to take on experienced HGV class 1 drivers with ADR (tanks) licences to work for one of our clients based in Ivybridge. Our customer is the leading supplier of gas in the UK and is looking for experienced, professional Cat C+E Drivers to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an exciting company to work for, who provides a supportive and inclusive working environment.

About the job:

• Full time position Monday-Friday
• Shifts normally start around 4am (PM shift cover when required)
• Delivering commercial gas cylinders.
• Pay will be £40,375 per annum
• PAYE - Internal payroll meaning we don't use umbrella firms!
• Training and PPE will be provided.

Job requirements:

• A full and valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence with an in-date CPC and Digi and ADR cards are required with no more than 6 points & no DR, DD or IN convictions for insurance purposes.
• Valid ADR (tanks) ticket is required.
• Previous HGV driving experience would be highly beneficial.
• The ability to lift and carry items throughout the day, as well as driving, is a requirement due to the physical nature of the job.
