Job Location: Avonmouth, BS11 area
Pay Rate: £15.90 per hour | weekly pay in arrears, every Friday | Weekend overtime paid at 150%
Shift Pattern: alternating shifts Monday-Friday, 6 am-2 pm & 2 pm-12 pm

Duties & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Clamp Truck Operator to join our team within the waste management and recycling sector. This role involves operating a forklift with a clamp attachment to handle and transport waste materials, recyclables, and other goods safely and efficiently.

Previous experience within a waste and recycling industrial environment is required.

• Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials
• Using clamp truck to transport bales of material within the plant from one area to another
• Load and unload lorries & trailer using a clamp forklift
• Inspect and maintain the forklift equipment
• General housekeeping
• Health and safety conscious at all times

Requirements

• Valid FLT Counterbalance Driver certification
• Experience operating a Clamp Truck is required
• Good teamworking and communication skills
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
