Claims Technician Role

We are supporting a company based in Aylesbury with recruiting for a Claims Technician on a permanent basis. The salary is between 23.9k-26k per annum (DOE), and the hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm, with an hour for lunch.

This is an office-based position, and due to the distance, you must be local to Aylesbury. There is an option for hybrid working, but only available to applicants with previous Claims Handling experience.

Responsibilities include:

1. Handling inbound and outbound calls from customers
2. Being the first point of contact for customer queries and complaints, resolving them professionally
3. Dealing with and opening customer insurance claims, ensuring service level agreements are met
4. Applying efficient cost control
5. Updating jobs on the system to maintain records
6. Ensuring documentation compliance and following the Data Protection Act
