Aon is looking for a Claims Specialist II

Do you have experience in claims adjudication and enjoy resolving issues for clients? If you'd like to grow your experience with a globally respected firm, this may be the next step in your career!

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Travel Practice business group within Aon Affinity. This position has 4 weeks of virtual training followed by a remote work schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and service claims in accordance with plan provisions.
  • Conduct thorough investigation of claim submissions and documentation to confirm coverage.
  • Review medical records, itineraries, and other documentation to make determinations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and clients through verbal and written communication.
  • Answer incoming telephone or email inquiries from customers regarding the status of their claim.
  • Communicate with customers throughout the claims process, and monitor claims for possible fraud and misrepresentation.
  • Proactively resolve claims within established Service Level Agreements and Regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, while managing and maintaining a workbook of claims.
  • Maintain all licenses in good standing with timely completion of required documentation and continuing education requirements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to independently make decisions utilizing certificate of insurance and adjudication procedures.
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment with strong technological skills.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years claims adjudication experience.
  • General Adjustor license for home state, or ability to obtain within 90 days of coursework initiation.

Education:

  • College education preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Successful completion of a 4-week training program required.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
