Job description

Are you ready to lead a dynamic team and make a real impact in the insurance claims space? Everywhen Insurance Brokers is seeking a proactive and experienced Claims Team Leader to join our Regional Claims team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a high-performing team and drive service excellence across our claims operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Claims Manager, you will lead a team of 6–10 Claims Handlers, ensuring the delivery of an efficient, effective, and client-focused claims service. You’ll be responsible for coaching, motivating, and developing your team, while also collaborating with Claims Executives and Senior Claims Handlers to deliver our claims proposition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, guide, and support Claims Handlers to meet performance targets and service standards
  • Provide technical claims support and be the go-to expert within the team
  • Champion continuous improvement and drive service excellence
  • Collaborate with the Regional Claims Manager to implement claims strategy
  • Oversee complex claims issues and ensure accurate, compliant handling
  • Produce and analyse claims reports for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure delegated authority claims are managed in line with licensing requirements
  • Support client renewals with timely and accurate claims data
  • Promote claims defensibility and risk management through data analysis
  • Handle your own portfolio of claims in line with SLAs and operational procedures
  • Ensure compliance with internal systems and reporting standards
  • Act as a referral point for large or complex losses, supporting Claims Executives as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in claims handling and team leadership
  • Strong technical knowledge of insurance claims processes
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills
  • Ability to analyse data and produce actionable insights
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering outstanding client outcomes
  • Experience working within delegated authority frameworks is a plus
