This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and commercially minded motor insurance claims procurement professional to join the UKGI Claims Supply Chain team, with accountability for the Motor Claims category.

About the job

The purpose of the role is to maximise value through the end-to-end commercial management of Aviva’s motor claims supply chain.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and operational teams to design future service solutions, creating greater value for Aviva and our customers.

Specialising in motor insurance claims, you will apply commercial, contractual, supplier relationship management, regulatory, risk management, and category management skills to drive value, mitigate risks, and support Net Zero ambitions. You will combine market knowledge with a deep understanding of business needs to develop sourcing and supply chain strategies, working with colleagues to create appropriate contractual arrangements.

You will utilize internal processes, systems, controls, and governance mechanisms effectively.

Skills and experience we’re looking for
  • Procurement background with knowledge of GI Motor Claims Procurement/Supply Chain or Financial Services; Motor Accidental Damage experience highly preferred.
  • Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to build internal and supplier relationships.
  • Change management expertise and leadership skills, with a track record of strategy optimization and delivery within dynamic environments.
  • Contracting experience, including managing sourcing processes and negotiating agreements in line with governance standards.
  • MCIPS qualification or equivalent; business/finance degree preferred.
