This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and commercially minded motor insurance claims procurement professional to join the UKGI Claims Supply Chain team, with accountability for the Motor Claims category.

About the role:

The purpose of the role is to maximise value through the end-to-end commercial management of Aviva’s motor claims supply chain.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and operational teams to design innovative service solutions, creating greater value for Aviva and our customers.

Specialising in the motor insurance claims category, you will apply commercial, contractual, supplier relationship management, regulatory, risk management, and category management skills to:

  • Drive value for money through new initiatives
  • Demonstrate category expertise
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and market changes
  • Mitigate and manage risks
  • Support delivery of Net Zero ambitions

You will need to combine market knowledge with a deep understanding of business requirements to plan and implement sourcing and supply chain strategies, working with colleagues to create fit-for-purpose contractual arrangements. You will utilize internal processes, systems, controls, and governance mechanisms.

Skills and experience required:
  • Procurement background with knowledge of GI Motor Claims Procurement/Supply Chain or Financial Services; Motor Accidental Damage experience highly preferred
  • Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills with a proven track record in building internal and supplier relationships
  • Change management expertise and leadership skills to optimize strategies and deliver within a fast-evolving environment
  • Contracting experience, including managing sourcing processes and negotiating agreements in line with governance
  • MCIPS qualification or equivalent, or a business/finance degree preferable
