Overview
We have an opportunity for a Claims Performance Manager to join AXA Health. You\'ll drive cost management initiatives that streamline our claims processes and elevate the quality of healthcare services and customer experience. We offer flexible working arrangements and a 40% (2 days) per week away from home, moving to 60% (3 days) in the future. Away from home means attendance at office locations, client visits or industry events. You can discuss flexible working arrangements with Talent Acquisition.
What you\'ll be doing
- Support the Head of Claims Performance in leading the development and delivery of the claims cost management strategy across all business functions.
- Work as part of the leadership team to identify opportunities to expand our claims reduction programme while improving customer experience and clinical outcomes.
- Manage claims performance reporting for AXA Health by spotting trends, risks and opportunities to foster a data-driven decision-making culture.
- Deliver successful implementations of claims improvement initiatives, monitor ongoing performance and adjust strategies to drive positive change for customers, employees and the business.
- Provide oversight and support of system improvements and collaborate with colleagues to build better tools and processes for future claims management.
- Create a personal plan for continued learning and development to position yourself as a claims and healthcare subject matter expert.
- Support regulatory compliance of Care & Claims Transformation initiatives, referring concerns to risk management and the Head of Claims Performance.
- Indirectly manage and coordinate across multiple areas, ensuring collaboration and alignment with department goals while supporting team performance and development.
- Coach team members and support engagement across the department to foster ownership and empowerment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in an insurance or financial services background.
- An understanding of claims processes and systems.
- Knowledge/experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.
- Relevant experience in managing and contributing to large multi-disciplined programmes, with a focus on delivering cost improvements.
- Effective relationship and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Business subject matter expert with a strong desire to broaden expertise across the wider healthcare sector.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
- As a precondition of employment, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
