Looking for a role that will have a meaningful impact in Data Engineering for Claims? We are seeking an individual to proactively lead data efforts within our Claims Operations team, develop claims reporting tools, and provide thought leadership on visualizing Claims data during our platform transition.

The Opportunity

As part of the Wholesale Claims team, you will oversee data analytics development and implementation. Your responsibilities include leading and mentoring analysts, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and collaborating with senior management on strategic initiatives to enhance claims performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Oversee development and implementation of data analytics projects supporting Claims Operations.
2. Lead and mentor analysts, supporting their professional growth.
3. Implement data quality controls to ensure claims data integrity.
4. Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives to improve claims performance.
5. Prepare and present reports and analysis to leadership, highlighting key insights.
6. Manage key projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
7. Ensure accurate claims reporting to Claims management and wider leadership.
8. Monitor KPIs to drive claims performance improvements.
9. Identify and suggest process improvements aligned with claims data strategy.
10. Utilize Power BI, Claims Systems, and Expert Spend systems to create dashboards and reports for various functions.

Our Must-haves

• Proven experience in data analytics.
• Knowledge of London market systems like ECF, claims workflow triggers, and processes.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
• Strong communication skills to engage with senior management, brokers, and clients.
• Ability to discuss and document technical data requirements effectively.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
