  • Review, organise and maintain full and accurate claim documentation including schedules of loss, correspondence, expert reports and policy information.
  • Coordinate investigations and evidence gathering with operational, finance, legal and technical teams to support robust claims strategies.
  • Manage financial aspects of claims including reserves, budgets and spend in line with governance and insurer requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with policy conditions, notification timelines and insurer reporting obligations.
  • Provide clear, proactive updates to senior stakeholders on claim status, exposure, risk and emerging trends.
  • Manage external law firms and advisors to secure commercially sound outcomes.
  • Drive timely and pragmatic claim resolution without losing technical accuracy.
  • Support continuous improvement of claims processes, controls and documentation standards.
  • Identify recurring issues and risk trends to inform wider risk management activity.
  • Operate effectively across multiple group entities as required.
Experience
  • Proven experience managing complex customer and insurance claims within energy, infrastructure or green technology environments.
  • Comfortable handling a high volume, multi file caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Strong track record of working with insurers, loss adjusters and legal counsel on contentious or high value claims.
Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of insurance policy interpretation, claims reserving and insurer expectations.
  • Experience across customer, civil and insurance claims processes.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory, contractual and risk considerations within energy and green technology sectors.
Attributes
  • Highly organised, resilient and effective under pressure.
  • Commercially minded with sharp attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator who can hold their own with senior stakeholders.
Competencies
  • Ability to set and drive claims strategy in complex environments.
  • Skilled at managing multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal reporting at senior level.
