If so, then we have a superb opportunity for a Claims Management Executive to join our team on a hybrid basis to work both from home and from either the Leeds or Manchester office.

What the day will look like

In this exciting role, you'll be joining a UK wide team of CMEs who work collaboratively to knowledge share, test understanding and ensure best practice. You'll inherit a portfolio of key corporate clientele, some of whom have global exposures, and will quickly build effective working relationships with the key individuals therein. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Understand and agree what commercial claims services and capabilities the client will require and coordinate with Aon Claims and related teams accordingly.
  • Coordination and proactive management of Claims Review meetings with Client and Insurer as appropriate, ensuring the meeting is outcome driven.
  • Provide meaningful insight on insurers' willingness to pay claims.
  • Challenge reserves, monitor insurer performance against SLA’s, identify claims patterns and issue reports and mentorship accordingly both internally and externally.
  • Seek interim payments with insurers and loss adjusters where appropriate, paying particular attention to existing Insurer SLA commitments.
  • First line approach on discussions with insurers and loss adjusters on any disputed or contentious claim.
How this opportunity is different

This is a phenomenal opportunity to utilise your UK Property, Fleet and/or Liability claims expertise in what is mainly a field based role. You'll have plenty of client and insurer interaction on a face to face basis and will use your client advocacy skills at all stages of the process.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Experience of handling UK Commercial Insurance Claims with an emphasis on the core classes of Motor, Property and Liability.
  • Relationship management.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Insurer markets, insurance programmes and global placements.
