Ex-Mill Recruitment Ltd is sourcing a Technical Claims Manager to own insurance claims from start to finish, coordinating customers, insurers, loss adjusters and field teams in Redruth, Cornwall, with depots across Devon, Berkshire and the Midlands.

This is a high-responsibility project management and customer leadership role in a busy environment; DBS check, driving licence and UK work authorisation are essential, and training will be provided for the technical aspects.

Qualifications

• DBS check – essential.
• Full driving licence.
• UK work authorisation.
• English language ability.
• Ability to reliably commute to Redruth, TR15 3QY, or relocate before starting employment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of new insurance claims from initial instruction through to completion.
• Act as the principal point of contact for customers, including vulnerable individuals and high-profile clients.
• Build effective professional relationships with insurers, loss adjusters, brokers and technical teams.
• Quickly assess customer requirements and interpret complex information, including building damage reports and insurance policies.
• Work with field-based teams to develop appropriate scopes of work.
• Help prevent further property damage while controlling claim costs and delivering excellent customer outcomes.
• Adapt plans in response to changing priorities or insurer decisions.
• Keep projects progressing effectively and within budget.
• Monitor restoration progress and coordinate site visits.
• Maintain clear, professional communication between all parties throughout the claim.
