Job description

Kennedys is seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join our Claims Handling team. The role involves managing pre-litigated claims from first notification of loss, providing a bespoke cradle-to-grave claims handling service for insurers and self-retained policyholders, covering liability (personal injury, property damage) and first-party property claims of unlimited value.

Our Leeds team is a major player in the local market, ranked in the top tier for defendant personal injury by legal directories. We handle complex, high-profile cases, led by market-leading partners. We often work on UK cases requiring cross-border quantum investigations through our international offices. We focus on partnership, modern solutions, and innovative technology, including our in-house R&D and award-winning product suite.

Cases

• First-party property and third-party personal injury and property damage claims handling

Required experience

• 2-5+ years' experience handling defendant personal injury and property claims, in legal or insurance environments
• Proven ability to manage a caseload of pre-litigated fast-track and multi-track liability and property (preferably EL/PL) claims
